These fillers contain a synthetic version of hyaluronic acid. The results will last up to two years when injected into the cheeks and up to one year when injected into the chin.
Vollure is a filler from this collection that is specifically designed to smooth lines and facial folds around the mouth. It can create a softer-looking appearance by injecting volume below the lines, wrinkles, and folds that form in the lower and middle half of the face. Results for last 18 months post-treatment.
Volbella is a filler from the JUVÉDERM® collection specifically designed to augment the lips. We can also inject it into the area around the mouth where perioral lines form, also known as smoker’s lines or lipstick lines. Patients who want to restore or add volume to one or both of their lips can use this filler to reach their aesthetic ideal. The results will last one year after the initial treatment.
Ultra is another filler from this collection that can add natural and subtle volume to the lips. Post-treatment, you can expect your results to last one year.
Ultra Plus is a filler designed to address lines and facial folds around the mouth. It’s a good solution for those who have experienced the more advanced signs of aging and therefore require a thicker gel formula to smooth deeper lines and creases. Post-treatment, the results will last one year.
None of these fillers require a pre-treatment numbing solution; since they contain lidocaine, you can expect a comfortable process. However, some patients prefer a pre-treatment numbing cream which we can apply 30 minutes before administering your injections if necessary. We will begin the treatment by cleansing your skin to prepare it for the injections. Then we will administer the right amount o JUVÉDERM® filler into your target area.
We can use one or multiple fillers during a single treatment to address different areas of your face as needed. Our pre-treatment consultation will help determine which fillers will benefit you and how much product you will need to reach your aesthetic and aging-related goals.
Once you receive your injections, you’ll see an immediate improvement in your appearance. Those lines, folds, and hollow areas will be replaced by smooth, voluminous, youthful-looking skin. There’s no significant downtime associated with dermal fillers, but you will need to be mindful of some specific aftercare instructions. Following these instructions will ensure that you achieve the best results. It’s important that you avoid workouts for 24 hours after your treatment, as well as any treatment that could increase your body temperature.
Avoid touching the treatment site unless directed otherwise, and follow your injector’s recommendations regarding which topical products to use post-treatment and which to discontinue temporarily. Also, avoid using anti-inflammatory, blood thinning medication and supplements for the first few days post-treatment.
Most patients qualify as good candidates for JUVÉDERM® fillers. It’s important that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in these fillers and that your skin is healthy and free of any skin infections in the planned injection sites.
Pregnant and nursing women are not eligible for treatment with fillers due to safety reasons.
